Your First Visit

The purpose of this visit is to get enough information to determine if Chiropractic can help you, and if so, the best plan for your care. It will consist of a consultation, examination, and X-ray, if required.

Consultation:
You will meet your Lifestyle Chiropractor, who will first of all explain exactly why and what he/she will do on this first visit, discuss your health history and assess your current health. If the Chiropractor determines that you need Chiropractic care, he/she will proceed with an examination.

Examination:
Thorough physical, neurological and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the cause of your problem, and confirm if you are or are not, a Chiropractic patient.

X-Ray Examination:
A specific postural Chiropractic X-Ray examination may be required depending on your situation. An X-Ray and its Chiropractic analysis tells your Doctor of Chiropractic exactly what to do.

Correlation:
Before your Chiropractor can deliver the proper care, your examination findings will be studied and a personalised care plan will be prepared. Generally your care will start on the next visit.
