CHIROPRACTIC EDUCATION AROUND THE WORLD

Chiropractors around the world must spend a minimum of five years full-time education at university to qualify for registration. In Australia chiropractors graduate with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science degree, and in North America, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Subjects covered in the first few years include anatomy, physiology, bio mechanics, x-ray, histology, adjusting technique, geriatrics, public health and more. In later years more clinical subjects are covered such as pathology, microbiology, diagnosis and management, radiology, radiography, psychology, pharmacology, pediatrics and more.

Chiropractic students spend hundreds of hours in student clinic under constant supervision to ensure they graduate with highly refined skills and knowledge.
